Planning and managing your study and time - 30 September 2020

Studying a degree requires a lot of coordination and good time management will allow students to prioritise tasks. This will allow students to complete tasks and assignments, plan ahead and make the most of their time. In this webinar, the student success team will show you how you can improve your time management and raise your organisational skills to the next level. This session is open to those already enrolled on courses at Arden University and those who are interested in starting their degree.

Taking Place: Wednesday 30th September, 13:00 – 14:00 BST 

Join the student success team as they share skills that will help you to stay on top of your workload and help improve your study/life balance. 

In this session we will cover how to:

  • Create a productive study space
  • Plan and prioritise
  • Set Personal and Study Goals
  • Manage Distractions and procrastination
  • Manage Your Time 
  • Get Help and support

The session will conclude with a Q&A session where you can put your questions to the team. 
 


An introduction to Helen Duff:

Arden university Helen Duff

Based at Arden’s Coventry HQ, Helen Duff has worked at Arden since 2010. Helen started as a Student Support Co-ordinator supporting International (Tier4) students and progressed to her current role. She has a wealth of experience in operations and project management as well as support and coaching. 
Helen and the Student Success Team proactively outreach to students who are most in need of additional support. They deliver 1:1 support through coaching-style conversations to identify students' biggest challenges and barriers and work with the students to get them back on track with their studies.
Having previously worked as a nurse and also studied with Arden herself whilst working full time with a young family, Helen understands the challenges faced and is committed to seeing as many students as possible succeed in Higher Education and achieve their full potential.
