Arden PVC set to go global to represent university

As part of Arden University’s ongoing international focus, Debra Hinds, Arden’s Associate Pro–Vice Chancellor for Partnerships, is set to travel across the world to represent the university.

Debra’s itinerary includes a visit to Singapore, where she is set to attend ‘Going Global Asia Pacific’.

The first regional edition of the British Council's flagship Going Global conference is aimed at leaders in education with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Beginning at the British High Commission in Singapore on the 28th November, Debra will be one of more than 150 delegates in attendance from 19 countries, representing Senior leaders from education institutions engaged in international partnerships between the UK and the Asia Pacific region, funders of international education, and senior government officials.

Debra will then continue on to Australia to meet senior figures from a number of other universities, as we continue to look globally in delivering top level education without barriers.

I am delighted to be travelling across the world on behalf of Arden University and proud to once again be representing the University on an international level. The British Council Going Global Asia Pacific conference will be a highlight and looks set to be a thoroughly defining and progressive event, exploring International Education in the UK and Asia Pacific region. I will be sharing our recent learnings and exploring more about transnational higher education within the region from other senior figures from across the world,’ said Debra.
