We are proud to have partnered with the University of Bradford for more than 15 years. As experts in Distance Learning, our role is to help students enrol on to the Bradford Distance Learning MBA.

This means we support you all the way through the application process, from your initial enquiry to enrolling on the course. Once enrolled, you will become a student of the University of Bradford, who will support you through all aspects of your study. On graduation your certificate will be issued by University of Bradford.

The standard entry criteria for the Bradford Distance Learning MBA are:

  • At least 3 years’ Postgraduate work experience.
  • A good honours Degree from a UK university or overseas equivalent, or relevant professional qualification.
  • Your proficiency in English may be requested through a recognised test; scores of 6.5 (IELTS), 60 (Pearson Test of English) or 94 (TOEFL) will be accepted.

Please note: all applications are considered on their individual merits and will be assessed using a collective approach. This considers professional status and work experience, as well as academic achievement.

If you do not have a Degree or professional qualification, you can still apply, but will need to demonstrate significant management or business leadership experience (typically eight years’ worth). An academic recommendation based on interview will also be considered.

The modules you will study consist of four core modules (total of 80 credits), plus 40 credits of elective modules and your management project (60 credits).

The four core modules are:

  • Competitiveness Through Technology and Innovation
  • Leadership for Transformational Change
  • Digital Marketing, Branding and Strategy
  • Accounting and Economics for Decision Making

Elective modules may include*:

  • Corporate Finance and Crowdfunding
  • Entrepreneurship and Creativity
  • International Financial Management
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Financial Risk Management in European Banking
  • International Business in Emerging Economies
  • International Business Strategy
  • Management of Change
  • Corporate Marketing
  • European Business Management
  • Global Supply Chain Management
  • Management Consulting
  • Digital Health and Informatics
  • Materials, Resources, Energy and Competitiveness
  • Business Models for a Circular Economy
  • Diversity, Scale and Development
  • Enterprise and Innovation

You are required to complete 40 credits for your electives. Whilst most elective modules are worth 10-credit modules, Digital Health and Informatics is worth 20 credits.

Management Project - 60 credits

The Management Project is an integral part of the Bradford MBA. It is the final and most challenging, yet rewarding part of the programme. Once you have registered for the management project, you will have up to 12 months to complete it.

Co-created in partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, this unique MBA will prepare the next generation of leaders with first-hand knowledge on the circular economy.

With today’s economic conditions characterised by increased price volatility and scarcity on the energy and resources fronts, this requires a change in perspective. This course will inspire you to think outside the box and look beyond the linear ‘take, make, dispose’, arming you with the mindset needed to succeed in modern-day business.
