What is Blended Learning?

Blended Learning with Arden University is essentially the best of both worlds: a flexible mix of online Distance Learning, combined with face-to-face teaching in one of our study centres based in the UK or Germany. It's ideal if you want an element of more traditional lectures, but need the flexibility of learning online wherever and whenever suits you and your schedule.

Blended Learning with Arden allows you to:

  • Attend regular seminars (2 days a week) at your chosen study centre.
  • Interact with both your fellow students and your course tutors.
  • Study outside of classes, using Arden's 24-hour virtual classroom, iLearn
  • Access your course materials and resources such as tutorials, lessons and exercises online via your own computer, laptop, tablet or mobile - or use the computers at your study centre.
  • Progress your learning whenever and wherever you can, around your lifestyle.
  • Upload your coursework and assignments to our secure online zone.
  • Contact your tutor easily via Skype, email, webchat or phone whenever you need support,.

This new way of learning works around you. You can work, look after your family or let your social life flourish, without missing out on the Higher Education you want.

Most importantly, our Blended Learning model enables you to complete a full 3-year Degree with just 2 days face-to-face commitment per week at a study centre, plus online learning at home.

So far I've had great support and I am looking forward to the future. I personally found [Blended Learning] a great way to learn and glad I chose Arden University to do my Degree. We have good facilities on site [in the Birmingham study centre] - a library, cafe, computer area, and a student lounge.
