This BA (Hons) Business (Finance) course has standard entry requirements that you must meet to study online with Arden University. To be eligible for this course you must have either:
- Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR
- Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent
For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, you must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

We are happy to consider an application from you at Arden if you can show us you have the motivation to study this programme.
We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We’ll also ask you for references and evidence of relevant work experience.

Upon successfully completing your Business (Finance) Honours Degree with Arden, you’ll be ready for a role in a wide range of sectors, for example, retail, manufacturing, banking, accounting or finance.

How does it work?
Once you enrol with Arden, you will receive access to both Salesforce and Cisco’s online, self-paced courses through your learning platform, iLearn. Here, you’ll be able to pick and choose which courses you’d like to study.
You’ll study the course content as and when it suits you. The hours required to complete a course vary; the amount of time needed to complete a Salesforce course ranges from 35 minutes to 21 hours, while the majority of Cisco courses take between 30 and 70 hours.
These courses are an added extra – it’s entirely up to you whether you complete one, 10 or none at all! Your participation (or decision not to study these additional extras) won’t have any effect on your degree or the grades you receive.
Fees
The Salesforce Trailhead and Cisco courses are completely free to study, but there is a fee of £150-£200 per badge for LinkedIn badge certifications from Cisco.
